Mr. Haoran (Leo) Li | Master by Research
Haoran is our first-ever student in the joint Jiangnan-Bristol 3.5+0.5+1 programme, partly supported by a UoB-JNU Scholarship. He completed all his Bachelor's degree requirements in the first 3.5 years at Jiangnan University before joining Bristol - thus renewing our romance with Wuxi (无锡) where Hongye and Guangzhen also studied, except for the final year research project, which is the +0.5 part that he is completing in Bristol, working with Hongye closely on using the classic Langmuir-Blodgett trough to study the lipid-droplet membrane mimicking monolayer.
Following a productive peroid, concluded with a presentation, Leo is returning gloriously to Wuxi for a public confession of all his England adventures as his final +0.5 assessment. We very much hope that he would return to our Pudding Club in September to continue his +1 adventure.
